While you’re certainly welcome to visit our showroom
to browse or shop, our range of services far exceeds the visual feast you will experience there, which is only the tip of
the iceberg. The following describes our approach to helping you find your home.
STEP ONE:
CONSULTATION
Call us. We will discuss your project and schedule an appointment to visit your home. This
initial consultation is on us. At your home we will establish your project goals and design needs. We will inventory
your existing furnishings and use those treasured pieces you wish to incorporate. If sofas and chairs need to be reupholstered,
we have a vast fabric library and a skilled upholsterer to make them look like new. And if they need refinishing and
repair, we have skilled craftsmen to bring these items back to life.
STEP TWO: THE PLAN
Using sophisticated CAD software,
we will prepare space plans that show you how best to arrange your rooms, including three-dimensional perspective drawings
and wall elevations to help you see exactly what your room(s) can become. We show you the ideal ways to organize the
space to create a “conversational grouping,” how to deal with foot traffic and what to avoid.
STEP THREE: SELECTION
We
help you to realize your vision by editing and narrowing the best selection of materials and finishes, including floor coverings,
furnishings, fabrics, paint colors, lighting, cabinetry, appliances, plumbing fixtures, hardware, and accessories.
There
are so many products available in the current marketplace that it’s easy for the shopper to get overwhelmed and confused. We
narrow the range to help you develop your ideas. But we don’t dictate. We translate. By this, we mean
incorporating your desires into the best possible plan. Our years of experience have taught us what works best—and
what doesn’t.
STEP FOUR: PRICING
Here’s
more good news. With a purchase of $5,000.00, we don’t charge design fees. Better yet, we discount our lines
of fine furnishings from 15 to 25 percent off suggested retail and we pay the freight into Albuquerque, which can run as high
as 20% of the cost of the furnishings themselves! This gives you a great value and a win/win situation. We prepare
estimates for all purchases, orchestrate shipping and freight into Albuquerque, track orders, and arrange for delivery.
Then we come back to set it up and help with art and accessories.
